RED VELVET CUPCAKES

Recept za ove cupcakes sam pronasla u on line casopisu Mezze. Odavno me je zanimalo kako se prave ti famozni red velvet kolaci koji su veoma popularni u Americi. Kao priliku da ih napravim iskoristila sam rodjendan moje cerke. Po povratku iz skole cekalo ju je slatko iznenadjenje. A posto je kroz par dana imala rodjendansku zurku, iskoristila sam ovaj isti recept za patispanj za jednu od torti . Socno je, meko, izdasno i dobro ide sa nekim filom od vanile ili sira.

Dakle , evo vam zanimljivih kolacica da se sladite ovog vikenda.

Sastojci:
Za buttermilk:
3/4 solje mleka
kasika limunovog soka

U mleku razmutiti limunov sok i ostaviti da stoji 5 minuta.

Za testo:
330 g mekog brasna
25 g kakao
prstohvat soli
1 1/3 solje ulja
250 g secera
2 jaja
1 kasicica arome vanile
1 kasicica crvene boje za kolace (moze i vise ako koristite tecnu boju)
1 1/2 kasicica sode bikarbone
2 kasicice sirceta

Za preliv:

100 g krem sira
sok od pola limuna
50g secera u prahu

Zagrejte rernu na 180 stepeni C.
Pomesati sve suve sastojke - brasno, kakao, so. Umutiti jaja sa secerom, dodati ulje, vanilu i crvenu boju. Umutiti mikserom. U ovu smesu dodati brasno i buttermilk. U casicu staviti sodu bikarbonu i sirce, kad zapeni dodati u testo i sve dobro izmutiti. Rasporediti u pleh za mafine. Peci na 180 stepeni C , 30 minuta. Kad se ohlade na svaki cupcake staviti malo preliva od sira.





Red velvet cupcakes

Ingredients

For buttermilk

3/4 cup of milk

1 tbs of lemon juice

Put lemon juice in milk and leave for 5 minutes.


For batter

330 g cake flour
25 g cocoa
pinch of salt
1 1/3 cup of cooking oil
250 g sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp red food coloring
1 1/2 tsp of bicarbonate soda
2 tsp of vinegar

For icing

100 g cream cheese
50 g icing sugar
juice of half lemon

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
Mix all dry ingredients - flour, cocoa, salt. Mix eggs with sugar, add oil, vanilla extract and food coloring. Add flour mixture and buttermilk. In a cup mix bicarbonate soda and vinegar and when it foams add it to batter mixture and mix everything well with a mixer. Distribute into muffin cups and bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees C.
